I unlocked 1.1.3 OTB iPhone with the instructions from hackthatphone.com (downgrade to 1.1.1 -> JB -> oktoprep -> 1.1.2 upgrade & JB -> geohot unlock -> dev team soft upgrade to 1.1.3 (to get signal)). Everything went well and I even made 2 phone calls from that iPhone.
After that I restarted the phone and have not managed to get signal with that phone. I have tried bricktool, signal.app and even redone the unlock.
Any ideas?
Normally, after "geohot unlock", you iPhone may in "NO SERVICE" or work fine. If no service, try to use bricktool in 1.1.2, not in 1.1.3.Quote:

When I reboot the phone, I get no signal. What I have had to do to solve it is to uninstall and reinstall the unlock tool, and then use signalfix. It has worked about 5 times now. From my tests, I am starting to think this is a baseband issue, and that if you could simply reboot the baseband after rebooting the phone, it would solve the issue. I am thinking that through the unlock and the signal fix the baseband is being rebooted. Is there a way to JUST reboot the baseband?
Also, can you describe how to check simstate?

Anyhow, no matter which one I use, I still get no signal when I restart the phone. It is only after I use the bricktool/signal fix, that things work.
However, each time I reboot the phone, I would be required to uninstall the bricktool, then reinstall the unlock, and then reinstall the bricktool.
So what I am saying is, if yours does not work, try:
Uninstall bricktool/signalfix
Uninstall Unlocker if you can
Then reinstall unlocker, then reinstall bricktool.
