[1.1.3 otb] h/w ?

hey,
i was just wondering if i bought 1.1.3 otb is it possible to downgrade to 1.1.2 or whatever to perform h/w unlock and then re upgrade again to 1.1.3 ?

Why not? He could use the HW method to downgrade his bootloader and the just use one of those virginizing programs to downgrade his baseband and unlock as with Anysim, couldn't he?

h/w method will work only if he has 1.1.4 secpack, which he doesn't have I bet

why the heck i would need sec pack from 1.1.4
i am talking about hw method not sw

Please read the threads in the forum. There are billions and billions of posts that answer your question. There is a neat lil' feature called the 'Search'. Get familiar with it.

Hardware method is a software method.... It is not called software method because you need to open the phone and set one single bit to 1, that can't be set with software. True software method would not require opening the phone, true hardware method still works - requires specialized tools, removing the chip from the board, reprogramming and soldering it back (if you think connecting two points is hard, don't even think about it).
