[1.1.3] Official 1.1.3 Upgrader - Changelog/Version History
This is an attempt to keep track of the status of the 1.1.3 Official Jailbreak
based on the test I did on my iPhone (Version 1.1.2 - Modem Firmware 04.02.13_G - BL 3.9)
*****************************
GREAT NEWS FOR ALL BL3.9 iPhones
*****************************
The Software unlock for the 1.1.3 Baseband (04.03.13_G) will be released soon!
-- ONLY FOR Boot Loader 3.9 --
This will probably allow to update using iTunes and unlock...
Result: a complete 1.1.3 (firmware+baseband) unlocked.
The current 1.1.3 upgrader (the one described in this thread) only updates
the firmware leaving the baseband untouched.
This prevents Google Map locateme to work...
Thanks to iPhone Elite Development Team!
-> EXPECT THIS TO CHANGE THE UPGRADE PROCEDURE <-
SW unlock for BL 4.6 iPhones is "Under heavy development"...
Keep up the good work guys!
H/W Bootloader downgrade is still the best choice in this case!!
Before you start...
-----------------------------------------------
Are you happy of your Jailbroken/Activated 1.1.2/1.1.1 iPhone?
If YES is your answer, I would suggest to WAIT and not to proceed with the 1.1.3 upgrade!
Many Apps are still not compatible and its recommended that only developers
upgrade their phones at this stage...
... but if you really can't wait... :D
Decide where to start:
1) From your current 1.1.2 jailbroken/activated iPhone:
apps will be lost but all your data will remain
I woud suggest to uninstall all your 3rdp Apps before starting!
2) From a fresh 1.1.2 jailbroken/activated iPhone: (RECOMMENDED)
you will have to restore 1.1.1->1.1.2 and jailbreak
Here's a good tutorial for that
