So I recently got a 1.1.3 and downgraded it to 1.1.1, jail broke it and activated it. When I updated from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 using the same method that you install 1.1.1, it wipes the phone and makes it OTB again.
I probably just don't know what I'm doing here, but could someone tell me or point me in the right direction.
I've attempted searching already, but unlike the ones in the "know" I don't know the right terminology to use (maybe).
once you upgrade to 1.1.3 then there is no way you can downgrade it and make is usable.
only way is sign contract with at&T or O2.
I have O2 contract and I did upgrade , when I downgrade is says incorrect sim.
If you upgraded to 1.1.3 you have also updated your baseband to the new 04.03.x and therefore you CAN'T sim-unlock it... (even if you downgrade to 1.1.2 or 1.1.1), at least not before the 1.1.3-secpack is out (and even them, only if you have a bootloader 3.9 phone)
Sorry, must have not made it clear. I just bought it today and its a 1.1.3 version OTB. I can downgrade it to 1.1.1, I just can't take it up to 1.1.2 so I can install iWorld and use it for a German guy I'm doing this for.
He'll be using a TurboSIM

the have the serial 83751xxxx i only hope they are still 1.1.2. they where shiped on the 15.01 just before the keynote at macworld!
so just a simple question for everyone...so the iphones that you buy from today all have 1.1.3 on them? can anyone confirm this? i know they announced it today but just wanna if they have started selling the iphones with 1.1.3 throughout the US.

How did you manage to get the Serial of your phone even though I suppose it didn't arrive yet? Was it in one of the emails you received from Apple.
As we're in the same situation, would really appreciate if you could post news as soon as you receive them as you'll surely get them before me.
