[1.1.2 OTB][Warning] Hw Unlock Is Dangerous For Noobs!

You have all been warned by Geohot on his blog, on the IRC channel, and on this forum.

If you do not completely understand exactly what you are doing...

*DO NOT ATTEMPT THE HW UNLOCK*

I have had about a dozen people contact me today alone wanting help with their iPhone.
I'm sure it will be more soon....

If you are dead set on trying I provide this advice.

1. downgrade your iphone to firmware 1.0.2
2. do NOT restore the iphone if you encounter problems
3. run the tools from mobile term on the iPhone
(You will lose ssh/wi-fi during the process, and this screws people up)
4. READ READ READ the tutorials, and geohots blog thouroughly BEFORE you start

Again DO NOT ATTEMPT if you don't understand the process completely.

Nice, I'm glad to see someone is looking out for the less technical among us.

Good try, but unfortunately the people messing up their phones usually don't read all/other threads, they just see a post or two then they start messing. Just note how many didn't install terminal prior to the erase or are asking how to fix it even though the answers are all over the place.
