Possible hardware issue?
Hi,
I think I may have a hardware issue, from the "Activate iPhone .. connect to iTunes" screen, I slide for emergency, and decided to test by dialing 911 with the original AT&T sim inserted.
Call failed. Shouldn't 911 go through? I also noticed that I have very little to ZERO speaker feedback when the iPhone is searching for signal.
Brief history why I did this:
I've got an OTB 1.1.1, ran jbme.com, bsd, openssh, then anySim 1.1. anySim reported success, yet I have No Signal.
I've restored, that didnt work. I then re-patched anySim 1.1's work via oneSim, will run anySim 1 more time to see if it made any changes but I'm not hoping for much here.
Does this seem like a hardware issue? If so, how should I go about trying to get it exchanged?

try replace lockdownd first. if doesn't work, restore to 1.0.2 and flash the baseband to v3. restore to 1.1.1 and try again.

I've replaced the lockdownd file and still nothing.
Before flashing the bb to v3, should I try reflshing it with v4 instead? Perhaps something buggy with the bb firmware installed?
Does flashing my bb have an affect on the unlock count?
Regarding your suggestion to: Restore to 1.0.2, flash bb to v3, restore back to 1.1.1..
I'm assuming restoring back to 1.1.1 (from 1.0.2) will leave the bb at v3. So doesn't that mean I'd have to run anySim 1.0.2 to unlock?
I'm thinking about just exchanging it with Apple, have any suggestions on how I should go about this?
Thanks

NO - never use anySIM 1.0.2
The only version you want to use is anySIM 1.1

Awesome, I just downgraded the FW to 1.0.2 and flashed the baseband with v3 firmware, then unlocked with anySIM 1.1.
The phone now has reception and all seems to be working fine. My question is, will updating to FW 1.1.1 have any negative effects?
