I am searching all the forums about unlocking 1.1.2 for uk iphones. But i am waiting for my iphone that was bought on the 9th of november. I asked the guy that hols my phone to check the firmware and the modem firmware and is 1.1.2 and firmware 04.02.13G. is it possible that the bootloader is 3.9 and not 4.6. Is that possible.?

yes its possible. This is common when they updated the phones at the apple store. To check it you need to jailbreak and then copy the bbupdater files and disable the commcenter and the chmod bbupdater and then run bbupdater -v. It will tell you the bootloader. Im sure there are tutorials somewhere. use the search.

as far as I know, all UK iPhones come with bootloader 4.6

apparently, if bought in the first couple of days, some have the 3.9 bootloader

google how to check iphone bootloader and there are loads of tutorials...

this is not a UK phone but a US phone. I pray that the bootloader is 3.9 it will be a Christmas gift for me.......
