Doesn't that require wi-fi? I cant if it does i cant get it to work. Right now i'm stuck at the activation screen on 1.1.1. I can't call *#307# to jailbreak, it won't let me. I've also read that i can't downgrade to 1.0.2 on oob1.1.2 so i can't use ibrickr to put stuff on my phone. As soon as i'm done typing this i'm gonna call apple. I guess i'll tell them i couldn't get as far as activating it when it gave me the message.

EDIT: Just got off the phone w/ apple and they told me to try a different usb for restore, which i should have thought of in the first place Now its back to how i got it in the first place. Will try to jailbreak and unlock now...
    EDIT AGAIN: It's back! dammit!

Well i called again, and they told me to go to a local ATT store to get a new sim, which shouldn't be a problem b/c she said i can still do it in the comfort of my home. The question is: is this gonna work? If not then should i just go get a new sim and tell them that still didn't work?

Put the phone in DFU mode.
    Restore to 1.0.2
Then you can use ibrickr and fix your phone

connect the phone, run ibrickr and select downgrade to 1.0.2, follow the on-screen instructions...

Bro i told you already it won't work you can't fix it... apple can't fix it what makes you think you can... you have no wifi so you can't connect to putty etc... restoring it will restore till the last second and it will give you an error and when you boot it up after restore it will say "Repair Needed" just like before... i mean if you wanna waste your time then go ahead try and heep trying but i would go to apple and thats it and they will replace it....
