i bought a 1.1.2 iphone from UK
the problem is i didn't understand something
i read all threads and post
the serial num = 43 << 4th and 5th #
and the modem firmware = 04.02.13_G
i already downgreaded it to 1.1.1
then AppTappInstaller then i chose 1.0.2 firmware
used jailbreakme
my Q's is
can i unlock the SIM and if yes how?
or my iphone is considered as new phones due to the firmware?

You may have 'stuffed' it up by trying to software unlock. One of my customers did this, and it took me ages to get the phone 'back' to a stage where I could get it to 1.1.2 Jailbroken and Activated - ready to install a TurboSIM.
Anyway to use your iPhone with a different carrier you will ned a TurboSIM or similar device.
