Please Help - I think anysim has actualy bricked my phone!
Hi Guys,
Ok quick info on my situation, I have unlocked a few iphones before (one hardware and 2 using the software at www.freeiphoneunlock.com) - both with nor real problems.
Anyway I was doing another phone and decided to use anysim for the first time. I instaled through IBrickr and ran it.
It ran and said somthing along the lines of it flashed ok but couldent do the unlocking part.
So I decided to restore to 1.0.2 through itunes. (I have now done this a few times)
Now the phone will turn on but gets to the activated screen. If I connect it to itunes, itunes says it needs a sim inside it (which it is!), even indapedance is having trouble doing anything with it (I have managed to jailbreak after a few attempts with it, but cant get it to fake activate)
Also if i tap the 'i' button on the phone it shows absoulutley no no imei number or iccid !
So im pretty sure its to do with a bad flash to the baseband?
I have seen a guide to fix the baseband after a bad flash, but that asumes i have activated the phone and installed terminal etc on it.
Is there anything anyone thinks I can do to fix the iphone? Im prety worried I have a brick on my hands.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi,
Thanks for the reply!
The only guides i can find involve uploading files to the phone, I cant actualy do this as i cant seem to get past activation screen, as ibrickr wont even see the phone and indapendance can sometimes manage to jailbreak it but not activate it.
Is there a way to do it without being passed the activation screen?

UPDATE: I have finally managed to get back into the phone with IBrickr, if I successfully get the phone back to normal and then get it unlocked I will write up the exact process I used , just in case anyone else might find it useful.

Hi,
Yep thats what I have used, I have got as far as installing terminal, etc on the iphone and putting the relevant files onto iphone through IBrickr (can not ssh into it though as there is no wireless at all on the phone, im guessing this is due to the bad flash to the baseband)
im having trouble with the launchctl unload -w command at the mo, it could be due to having to type it all out on the iphones terminal window though not sure. It just say 'no such process' - any ideas?
Update: Seem to have gotten past that now, I guess the command worked once but i dident realise so kept trying.

Hi Chris, I am having the same problem as you.
I am trying to follow your steps, but I don't know where to find fast_unlock.pxl to install. My iPhone ins't recognizing any sim card.
Thanks for any kind of help.

Hey,
Just follow this link : http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...0371#post50371
Click on the first download link in this thread and it will take you to the Easy iUnlocker zip file. The unlock-fast.pxl is located there.
