Hi!,

I need some, help. I don't know why i'm getting a message that reads:

Fixed Number Dialing Active
Insert an unlocked and valid SIM to activate iPhone

I call to the *#307# the I delete it with the backspace, then I hit 0 and call, and nothing happend. The iPhone sais Called Faild and goes back to the Activate with iTunes screen.

It shows this message with the original AT&T SIM.
I don't have access to AT&T to get a new SIM.

I have restored the iPhone serveral times, but nothing happends. The message is still there.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

*#307# call
hit the backspace arrow at top to clear out *#307#
hit 0
call
and etc .....

I can't do that, because of the Fixed Number Dialing Active message....
After I erease the *#307# and I call to 0 ..I do not receive a call...instead it sais Call Ended, Call Failed..

i have the same problem with a brand new 1.1.1. i used the jailbreak from http://jailbreakme.com/ and after run anysim 1.1 always appear the "Fixed Number Dialing Active" message. i restore to 1.1.1 and now i'm in activation screen with the message above, and now the *#307# doesn’t work.

I solve the problem revirginizating the Iphone to the 1.0.2.
My iPhone was 1.1.1 out of the box, but downgrading it to 1.0.2, and then upgrading to 1.1.1 via revirginization, the unlock counter was reseted and the Fixed Dial Number Active disapear..

I recommend you this guide to make the virginization...

You probably will need to downgrade the OS before start with the revirginization.
You can use the iDemocracy software to do that...but just until you finish the appTapp installer..(you must do it twice)

In the process of virginization you may get an error like "FW differences found". I you get this, you probably need to downgrade the baseband too. Yo can follow this guide.

thanks for your help. i already had downgrade firmware and the baseband to 1.0.2 and 03.14.08_G and PROBLEM SOLVE. i will wait to upgrade to 1.1.2.
this was my 10 unlock, the other 9 everything works fine, this one was hard, but now no problem.

HI, I'm glad you already solve your problem....I want to note that after I had downgrade fimware and the baseband...The iPhone was like a OTB 1.0.2 then I make a Update on itunes, clickin Update with shift pressed and selected de file from the 1.1.1 restore...
It was updated to 1.1.1 and the I use the jailbreakme.com method plus anysim 1.1

yah. i know that, a already upgrade 1 from 1.0.2 after virginize to 1.1.1, but this one i will wait a solution to 1.1.2.
