    im on a mac

when i plug it in i tunes recognizes it but it still does not move away from that start up screen with the small apple logo in the middle.

i also have ifuntastic installed and when i have my phone plugged it shows that it has been unshackeld and i can access all my photos and everything

so it seems my phone is still intact but no way i can get by that start up screen and the only way to power down is by force quitting it home+power

If you know your ipone ip address, ping it from CMD window. If you get reply, you are lucky. SSH into the phone using WinSCP, copy the files you deleted, reboot the phone.

sounds like your springboard is messed up. file the original files and upload them. It should fix it. i had a similar problem.
