Default Please help with Bricked iPhone !!!

Someone in my household took my iPhone (which was unlocked with a ATT SIMM) to apple to solve a battery problem. They upgraded it, and then it immediately "bricked".
They then told me to restore it using the newest version of Itunes. This just made things worse, as when i turn the phone on, it just gives me a grapghic of a itune + cable.
I tried to restore it by downgrading to an old iTunes, and using version 1.02? of the restore software. No use.

I am using the ATT Simm, so I now have no need to have this "Un-Locked" Is there anyway that I can restore this to a point, where I can use the ATT SIMM, with AT&T as the carrier?

    Please help!!!!

Which firmware were you running when you were still able to make phone calls?

How do I "virginize" the iPhone, if it is bricked now, and the only thing I see on the screen is the iPhone cable icon????

    Intex1,
The screen you are seeing (itunes logo + cable) is the 1.1.1 DFU mode screen. It means that your phone is in 1.1.1.
Here's what you gotta do: Run ibrickr and select: Boot my phone. Follow the on screen instruction.
After that, you will have the Activation Screen, click an icon next to the earth, looks like an ''i''. This will tell you your IMEI and ICCID.
Please tell me if you have IMEI and ICCID Unknown or if your IMEI starts with 0049.

When I run ibrickr, it says NO IPHONE CONNECTED.
I have gotten the iPhone back to the stage where , when it is powered on, it states:
InCorrect SIMM, insert an unlocked and valid SIM to activate the phone. Only Emergency phone calls are allowed.

    Thanks

Why don't you check your IMEI and ICCID so we at least know what problem your iPhone has...
