Hi, i updated to 1.02 and unlocked. phone is activated and accepts all sim cards but says no service.. i did make sure to put the comcenter file back in so thats not it.

maybe its just the antenna that is not connected?

no i checked that, the wifi still works.

one of the antennas is bluetooth the other one is wi-fi/gsm.
unplugging the antennas makes wi-fi disconnect almost instantly.

Are you able to dial out?

I have unlocked my iphone using geohot method and showing my service provider name. If I take out the SIM and put it back, it will show NO SERVICE but still allows calls and sms. I will have reboot to refresh my service provider name.

is there any way to downgrade the firmware to 1.0 and start over from scratch?

no it says call failed as soon as i hit send.

are you using a mac?

in case:
open itunes, alt+click on the restore button, an you can choose from what firmaware restore

Did you unlock with 1.02 already installed or just 1.0? If you unlocked with 1.0 then updated to 1.02, you undid the unlock. As for it saying no service, if you're sure it's unlocked i would recommend trying different sims.

no pc..
cant be done with pc itunes?

i tried doing bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls and it restored it to a locked state.
i then reran ieraser and iunlocker and it was unlocked again but still no service.

100% its unlocked.

eother way i reuploaded the hacked nor file like 5 times with iunlocker.


when its locked you get the this phone only works with correct sim card please connect to itunes..
