Installer.app failed on me three times today, I'm using Vista. It was working fine yesterday but I see your looking into it. I might have to install Win XP again

Carnaval failed 1 out of 5 today. Not sure why? It was week 41 production serial. I had another one from that week which failed the first time but it worked again later. Using XP

I did a week 41 yesterday. It was flawless.
When running Carnival, click on property of the DOS windows and change the buffer to something larger. At the 4th reboot prompt on the screen, right click the top left corner, select edit, select all and hit enter to capture the information. Paste that into notepad so you can see where it fails. Post the part that contains error and post it here so we can look and help.

I cant download V.4 for CARNAVAL, the link from rapid share doesnt work. Can someone post another link to it please.

dtube - It fails installing installer.app, which apparantly is a common problem on vista.

INTERNATIONALIZATION

I'm trying to make CARNAVAL in different languages, mainly because the whole process depends a lot on the instructions.
Right now I have versions in english (orignal), portuguese, and spanish (thanks to Gandalfj).
If you want a version in your languange you can help by translating the language files that are located under the "text" CARNAVAL's subfolder.
Just pay attention to the format and to the line breaks so things don't get messy. Post your translation here in the thread. That's is gonna help in case there's more than one translation to the same language (because others will also give their opinions).
It's also nice if you can run a trial with your translation to see if everything works fine. Of course, credit for the translation will be given.

BUG FIXES:
It seems some vista users are experiencing some problems with iphuc that makes CARNAVAL Intaller.app installation to fail. I'm already looking into it.

great work brasuco! but regarding the internationalization... there are already many translated projects in the languages you mention... can you just use those files?

if you use installer you can always uninstall options a, b and c!

Only problem on Vista is that it doesn't install installer.app. Once CARNAVAL finishes, is there any other way of putting this on seperately?
