What a weird thing is WIFI is not working from a month ago. It suddenly starts to fail and then appears a gray NO WIFI in settings...I have restored the phone many times and virginized too, upgraded to 1.1.1 and downgraded to 1.0.2, but with no luck =/


When in 1.0.2, at moment when i upload lockdown file with ibrickr to activate it, once i restart the iphone, USB connection no longer works....

CARNAVAL helps you with:

* Jailbreak
* Activation
* Youtube
* 3rd Party Software

RW means Read/Write, it's a access directive that means that you can read and right files.

P.S.: CARNAVAL will help you jailbreak your phone. It's an interactive process, though. Instructions will be given during execution. That's because you have to do some procedures yourself in the phone for the first part of the jailbreak (putting the symlink). Aside from that, CARNAVAL is mostly automatic.

CARNAVAL does not SIM-Unlock your phone. Sorry.

For that you will have to use any of the other available tools (e.g. AnySIM).

What I understand is that you can run your CARNAVAL and it will do all the jailbreak and activation without using the TIFF?

brasuco, can you add International keyboard support for the iphone. Especially the windows user they need to convert the .plist to change the value to true.

There are instruction in the beginning of CARNAVAL's execution to help you through the process of applying the TIFF exploit. That includes running Safari with an unactivated phone. Everything is explained step by step.

You don't need to use the exact same method explained in CARNAVAL (TIFF exploit).
If you want you can use the downgrade approach. The downgrade approach is the one explained in some of the Dev Team's tutorials.

The bottom line is that you first have to create a Symbolic Link in the place of the media folder. This way, the Folder "/var/root/Media" will become a link to the root directory.

If you are going to use an alternative method (instead of the one CARNAVAL instructs you) to create the SymLink, just remember to name the original Media folder as "/var/root/Mediaold", that's the only thing you'll have to pay attention to.

Not aware of Sym link as I have yet to come across it. I am still trying to get my phone out of restore mode as I keep getting 1604 error when I try to restore my phone
