[OTB 1.1.3] Unknown IMEI Unknown ICCID @ 1.0.2
Hello all...
I'm trying this as an experiment.
I read that people that had 1.1.2 and trying the HW ulock are getting the UnknowN IMEI and Unknown ICCID.
Now, I didn't even try the HW unlock, but my phone says the repair needed message that everyone is complaining about. I downgraded to 1.0.2, to 1.1.1.. couldn't JB 1.1.1 cause no wifi, etc. Now I'm at 1.0.2, used iBrickr to boot the phone, used PACAY to activate and put the lockdownd file in to place (for some reason iBrickr was putting the phone in to a continuous loop)
Anywho - I'm trying to do the hardware unlock now, because someone from the other thread dumped a little bit of the iPhone restore log on here.
Soo...
Here is my thing
1) Restore 1.0.2
2) Jailbreak
3) No IMEI, No ICCID, No Wifi, No nothin...
4) PXL > BSD, Terminal, UIctl, bbtools
5) chmod to all the correct things... don't worry about that part
so here I am:
# cd /usr/bin/bbtools
# ./ienew
Resetting the Baseband...Done
Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
iEraser for 112OTB: tool by geohot
Waiting for data...
[It just hangs here]
Now.. just for the hell of it.. since there is no baseband (this is what I'm assuming)..
I restarted the terminal program
# cd /usr/bin/bbtools
# ./iunew
Resetting the Baseband...Done
Opened: /dev/tty.debug
iUnlocker: tool by geohot
Modified to erase
Spamming AT, waiting for a response
[It just hangs here]
Think I am getting anywhere with this?
if I do bbupdater -v, it is unresponsive. I can't launch the modem because it's not there.. so I dunno
Anyone else wanna help with this project?
