Hi, as mentioned i just wanted to report what i just experienced and share with fellow users here. I did the following:

- restore to 1.1.4 in itunes.
- quit itunes and ran ziphone 2.5b gui(mac) (downloaded from zibri's blog.)
-clicked on the first button which is 'do it all'.

the result from above was my carrier option missing in settings, thus failure to have a phone telco chosen to make calls/sms.

I tried the steps above a couple of times but to no avail.

BUT after i downloaded ziphone 2.5 gui (mac) from here

I repeated the steps above and of course using 2.5 instead of 2.5b, my carrier now appeared after the unlock process and i'm able to make calls now!
