OTB 1.1.2 Error during anysim 1.1 "anysim cannot unlock this phone", HELP

it happened after i pressed "ok, unlock my iphone" on this guide: http://www.hacktheiphone.com/111/iphone_step_1_1.html

i have a UK OTB 1.1.2, please can someone help.

i tried to get past the jailbreak 10 times without success with the sim that came with the phone, i put an o2 pay as you go simcard in and it worked, so i followed the rest of the guide with my payg sim card in.

Please could someone kindly help me, is there something i should have done? i want to unlock it to all o2 sim cards.

i see, have you got a link to a guide with screenshots like the 1 i posted a link to to show me how to unlock it to work with all o2 sim cards?

If you purchased an iPhone, and it has the firmware 1.1.2, It can not be unlocked via AnySIM. It can be unlocked via TurboSim

ok, i followed the turbosim guide, but it appears that i need to buy a turbosim card thing.

are there not any methods to get the uk iphones unlocked to work on any o2 sim cards, im not bothered which firmware will have to be used on it. i thought that you could with 1.1.1 or something but all the guides i have found are for 1.1.2 using turbosim, could someone please link me with a method that doesnt require buying anything and either uses 1.1.1 or 1.02 (pref 1.1.1).

You don't need and can not run Anysim to have your O2 sims work on your UK OTB112 phone. You just need to jailbreak it and your O2 sim will work. Forget about Turbosim. Just becareful with your EDGE setting if you don't have a data plan. By the way, OTB 112 jailbreak guide is all over the forum. Good luck!

you also need patched lockdown file afaik! no idea dont live in UK, dont have 1.1.2 OTB so i dont pay attention! but i did see it on this forums, so "search"
