OTB 1.1.2 accdntlly upgrdd to 1.1.3 (pssible to dwngrde BL to 3.9?)
Hey folks,
Recently I accidentally upgraded my OTB 1.1.2 BL 4.6 iphone to 1.1.3.
It is restored to 1.1.1 and jaibraked...
I know that the new Baseband is not downgradable via software for Bootloader 4.6
Here is my question:
Is it still possible to downgrade the bootlader from 4.6 to 3.9 using the OTB 1.1.2 hardware solution?
Thanks in advance

THE ANWER IS SIMPLE: NO
The best you can have is a working iTouch. Procedures to get there are explained elsewere here. Do a search.

You can use the testpoint method to downgrade your bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9 AND you can downgrade your OS from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2 AND you can download your baseband from 04.03.13 to 04.02.13.
HOWEVER, because you (or your girlfriend, or your wife, or your little brother) "accidently" upgraded to 1.1.3, I think you'll find you cannot use your phone functions at all because your IMEI will no longer be understood and will appear as 0049...etc.
The only thing that can read your IMEI once you've upgraded to 1.1.3 is the baseband from 1.1.3 (i.e. 04.03.13).
Hope this makes sense.

venster is totally wrong , doesnt know what he is talking about...
on the other hand, if you accidently upgraded you 1.1.2 to 1.1.3, in my opinion you are not nearly qualified to do the HW BL DG.

Guys don't confuse people you cannot do the testpoint HW unlock if you had 1.1.2 OTB and update with Itunes to 1.1.3, in geohot own words: "You need to have a 1.1.2 4.6 phone for this to work. If you upgraded to 1.1.3, have fun waiting for 1.1.4!" he can't be clearer!

Right! The trick is definitely to have not upgraded to 1.1.3

So apparently venster was completely right
? No downgrade possible of baseband, once you installed 1.1.3 with itunes. That's exacly what i said.
