I just wanted to make sure before I do anything, the best method to unlock this version. I'm almost certain I should jailbreak 1.0.2, run anySim 1.2.1u and then from there update all the way to 1.1.2 using the various methods.

u need to use anysim 1.1 on firmware 1.0.2

I would:

1) Upgrade to 1.1.2
2) DFU to 1.1.1
3) jailbreakme.com
4) oktoprep
5) Upgrade to 1.1.2
6) AnySIM 1.2.1u

drg is right... I would just virginize before upgrade to 1.1.2 (just to be on the safe side).

And remember to turn airplane mode before running anysim 1.2.x
