Question Open SSH app from 1.1.2 jailbreak

    guys,

i'm sure someone already wrote about it but i can't find any post relating to it

i've just updated my 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 the only thing which is pretty annoying is this open ssh app from 1.1.2 jailbreak which allows you to swich on and off the ssh server.

is there any way to remove it?? or just delete the folder from apps whi i don't think is great way to do it...

    cheers
    mrtn

Except if you install Services.app or Toggle.app, i don't think it a good idea to remove it, you could need it one day.

Just ssh or winscp in your phone and delete it (located in /Applications)

That's correct I used winscp to remove this app placed on the springboard by iDemocrazy 2, then you could reinstalled it using the installer app but with an uninstall option of course that way

Just deleting the app doesn't actually get rid of the entire install, plus it leaves openSSH on. Also personally for me, services.app didn't work with that version on openSSH, only the one installed with installer.app. I really hate the jailbreak's open SSH and hope they never do it again.

I have the same problem or question regarding this SSH from jailbreak.

slimnickyy how did you get rid off it? Besides deleting it from Applications folder, what other steps are required to uninstall it?

I always have it turned off unless I need to access the iPhone remotely from my Mac. I use customize.app to get rid of its icon so it doesn't show up on my springboard.

Need to remove that folder (found in thread above) and all the .svn folders scattered throughout the firmware.
