You can try Tiny Web server from:
http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/tinyweb

Create a folder like: C:\jailbreakme and put the HTML content
also put the magic.tif file in the same directory.


Then edit the index.html file and change this line:
<a href="../conceitedsoftware.com/jb/magic.tif">Install AppSnapp</a>

to

<a href="magic.tif">Install AppSnapp</a>

and then run from terminal:

tiny.exe c:\jailbreakme

This shoud work.

I'm sure you can.
have IIS or Apache running on your windows box.
(you have to find a wget command for windows, google for it).
At the root of your defined webpage just do a wget as instructed.
you will see 2 directories downloaded, they are jailbreakme.com and conceitedsoftware.com.
You may have to put the conceitedsoftware.com under the jailbreakme.com for it to link correctly.

I don't think so though, at least download straight from local web server. The total size of the two folders is only 6.8K. Impossible to contain installer.app.

It will be a pain to install installer.app.

I think Installer.app then get's downloaded after you hit the exploit. This exploit may contain a Download&Exec kind of shellcode.

The best thing would be that someone actually try this method and then see.

Like:
1º upload magic.tif to www.myownurl.com
2º run www.myownurl.com/magic.tif from my iPhone
