I am about to buy iphone at apple store, and I know I can do software unlock 1.1.3 phone.
So, If I buy a iphone at apple store today, I just can soft unlock it right?
Or do they have new version or BL version we still can't unlock?
What do I need to look for at apple store?

ZiPhone 2.5 has had good success, plus you will be running the current firmware version under 1.1.4.

But before you try anything, learn the difference between putting the iPhone in DFU mode and Restore mode and and how to kick your iPhone out of restore mode to return to the Activate screen. This is essential! Also, learn when you should Restore vs Update.
