anyways start off by downloading this virginator pack

shortly after download this

ok now the really tough part *wink wink*

1) connect to your phone using openssh or ibrickr
2) copy the virginizer_pack folder to usr/bin and just drop it in there.
3) drop the virginator.sh file into the virginzer_pack
4) give permission 0755 to bbupdater norz and iunlock
5) use terminal on phone or putty and type
cd usr/bin/virginizer_pack
6) then type chmod +x virginator.sh
7)now simply type /virginator.sh and follow the prompts.
8) do not turn off the iphone during any of this
9) after it is done restart the iphone and enjoy your locked phone.


i would recommend you backup everything just incase. also im not responsible if you mess up and/or damage something. i did it in a couple mins its really simple and have fun with it

two things:
First: per the "HOWTO" instructions included with the virginizer pack folder, permission for virginator to run does not need ./chmod, just running chmod +x virginator.sh worked fine, the other way would give the error message "No such file/directory found.

Second: after permissions were given, when running virginator.sh with the command "./virginator.sh" the following errors occurred "./virginator.sh: line 234: syntax error near unexpected token 'then'"
next line said:
"./virginator.sh: line 234: 'elif [[ ${VIRGINIZE ANSWER} = 'no' ]] then'

Seems like someones code needs debugging. Maybe recompile when the code is complete?

Ok i have no problem in uploading the files using ibrickr do i still need to do steps 3&4?

I used this last night and it worked perfectly.

I had an anysim unlocked 1.0.2 phone but with At&t - the unlock was for intl. travel only. I Winscp'ed the v-pack into usr/bin - and then changed the permissions on all the files to 0775 (just to be sure:-))

Then I ran virginator.sh from terminal on the phone itself. It worked perfectly with the exact outputs shown on the "elite" forum page. After a re-boot all was and still is working perfectly - although I haven't bothered to unlock again as I still might want to upgrade my firmware at some later stage if it ever seems worthwhile.

Is that what the chmod part in the later step does?
