Did a virgin restore and everything... together with the fls and eef etc... and a hold-power-and-home button restore in vista...

tried the noobie edition unlock before it works... but i bought another iphone and tried the same thing but now it doesn't, tried it with my older iphone and now both are "locked". The fast unlock works but somehow a "NO SIGNAL" shows...

does anyone know why?

and also, will restoring from a 1.0.2 apple restore file (selecting firmware file by holding alt and shift) work just as well as a itunes restore?

have you tried other sim cards maybe to one your using is old and its your problem

restoring is all pretty much that same although you cannot downgrade as itunes will not flash the old modem firmware
