    hey, do report back with whatever you tried out, G'luck,

    anyways, if you do keep the baseband at 3.14 and still get the NSC(no service curse), please do try the steps at
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8333 , and reply if you have any success or not.

    My Phone sometimes says no service as well but when I'm in an area I know for a fact is covered . .. even with "no service" message I can still make calls as usual Lol.

    Have any of you guys actually tried making a call even though it says no service . . . Might be worth a shot

    hey alwyn,

    that's gr8 news, good to see your phone's up and running, so i see you didn't use installer at all in your attempt, is that right?
    I would also try out anysim 1.0.2 on my phone and see if it works out, have been using anysim 1.1.1 till now, do you think that would help, maybe the new version has some bugs, wotsay?

    Cheers,

    @goudok
    hey, man do reply back with the results whenever you try out the solution.

    @Zuz
    hey zuz, is the iphone still working without any problems,
    also what happens with me is that whenever I fully charge the iphone, it gives proper signals for few hours and then goes into NSC(normally this happens during a call). do you think your solution can help me too?

    yup still working perfectly 4 days have passed

    well to start with i dunno what caused the short circuit but for sure it is worth a try...

    i need u to try one thing thought.. when u get the no service, try pressing hard on the rear panel below the camera pinhole by about 4 cms and turn on ur phone.. try it at least twice, it used to work with me before i decided to open it...

    its like a trial and error thing so if u get a signal using this method then for sure my method will work with u..

    @ZuZ
    thanks for the tip man, by the way charging my phone fully does bring the network but only for sometime.

    Did try the hint but didn't work, will try again and report back. Anyways, according to your hint, do I keep the rear panel pressed untill the phone comes to the main screen?
