He got it back saying they couldn't unlock it due to lawyers/police issues

yup same here dead link..to manye people faking and playing games about the onluck..cuz someone also said u can hardware UNLOCK the 1.1.2 4.6 phone by removing the falsh something and do sometihng that i will be 3.9 and not 4.6 but it's really hard..

My Question is: Why he gets trouble with the "1.1.2 Unlocking method", but not with the old unlocking for all <1.1.2 ?
He sells unlocking for 50 EUROS and gets no trouble? It seems like a fake what he say.

Auftragsamt now is selling unlocking solution for 1.1.2 ootb for 40,- EUR on German eBay. Search for articel number 300179227573 at ebay germany. He answered a question from a customer regarding 1.1.2 ootb as follows:
"Es ist ein Software Generiertes SIM Unlock ( Kein Software Hack, Keine Turbosim, Keine Software Manipulation = Zukünftige Updates auch möglich"
This is a software generated SIM unlocking method (no software hack, no Turbosim, no software manipulation=future updates will be possible")
So lets wait for the first customer feedback
