Newbie question: anything to avoid with new 1.1.2 iPhone before unlocking
Hi, I just got a new US iPhone. Because it's new I suppose it has 1.1.2 firmware with 4.6 bootloader, and I further suppose that right now there are not yet standard solutions for unlocking, so I have to wait a little.
In the meantime, of course I wnat to play with it already :p
Is there anything I should NOT do with my new toy, in order to not make future unlocking more difficult (or impossible)?
Thanks for any hint.

First, you got to make a big cup of a hot tea. Then u may prepare some sandwitches or toasts, whatever you want. Btw, u can do anything you want. But don't try to do unlock your iPhone with older versions of AnySim, or to replace some parts of hardware. That's all

You should downgrade to 1.1.1 and jailbreak it and activate but don't upgrade back to 1.1.2 because most likely the new unlock method will require downgrading to 1.1.1 anyways. I think it would be good to prepare for it
Here is a easy guide to downgrade your firmware and baseband:

You can do everything in the guide except installing and running anySim.
