hey all of us shoudl just contribute to the PERSON ( limit it to one or two ) who will take the "plunge" and check it out for all of us ...

we are soo many of us ... if all of us chip in just ONE dollar each ... would be enuff to test on 2 diff phones...

They talk about UNLOCKED, not ACTIVATED phones, so as far as I know, ones that have been jailbroken (like mine) should not have a problem.

I am one of the suckers that has taken the plunge to make the purchase & am eagerly awaiting the solution.

wow there is NOTHING on the page except for a few paragraphs about how they finalized the "product." no proof, nothing. not even a screenshot!

you iphone veterans remember in august when every website out there claimed they had the iphone unlock, but couldnt deliver due to "delays" and calls from "apple lawyers."

Hey, guys, Happy Holidays. First time posting so thought I'd give a shout out first.
I just bought an iPhone 1.1.2 oob a few days ago. I didn't know that it couldn't be unlocked with software, I thought it was the same as the others, but reading a bit of these forums it seems like the better bet is to use StealthSim/TurboSim/etc since it seems to be a safer way of doing things and doesn't void your warrantee (which I'm kinda confused at how you get a warrantee without activating it or whatnot - legal $hit I guess).
Anyways, I don't exactly have a whole lot of money, and probably really shouldn't have spent $550 CAN on an iPhone, but I really needed a new cell for over a year and a half and the iPhone seemed like a good choice. The software crack being cheaper is tempting, but really nervous about the risk.

oh, btw, I did jailbreak it and everything else works great. Awesome video on YouTube that shows you step by step instructions on how to do it.

I have taken the plunge and spent the $25. I will post as soon as there is any news.

I think the best thing to do is DO NOT buy this thing. It's not expensive enough to be real. The guys just want as much as people possible to pay during these 26-36 hours, and then ciao bello, here they're gone.
