I've follow the instruction in http://iphone.unlock.no/#unlock-permanent.
1. Upgrade virgin 1.0.2 iPhone to firmware 1.1.1.
2. Jailbreak and Activate iPhone Firmware 1.1.1.
3. Install BSD
4. Unlock iPhone with AnySim 1.1.

Every thing is fine and I can use non-AT&T SIM card to send/receive phone call, Using WiFi to surf Internet, photo...

Until I try to upload some song into the iPhone and found that the system only have 300MB. (My phone is 8G version !)

Here is I may try :
1. uninstall AnySim.
2. Run OneSim. Did I need to reinsert original SIM card to run this program ?
3. Run Virginize script ? Did I need this for Firmware 1.1.1 ?
4. Restore iPhone with firmware 1.1.1

Is this possible for my phone to get back the 8G ? Or is there any alternative ?

I've only restored the 1.1.1 from iTunes 7.4.3 and didn't uninstall anything. I go back to the "Activate iPhone" screen.

I used carnaval and anysim, and I got 300mb, but once I restore and used jailbreakme, it went back to 7.2GB. There should be a lot of materials in this forum on this.

Please provide me some more information for "restore". I'm not sure the OneSim & Virginize script is for 1.1.1 or not.

Or just restore the 1.1.1 into the iPhone.

I restore the iphone with 1.1.1 firmware (old version in which you can find and do not used the apple site new version because as mentioned it may has been patched), and do jailbreakme and check the "about", the amount of memory changed from 300mb to 7.2GB.

As I said in my previous reply, I did the 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 through the original exploit (not jailbreakme.com because it wasn't out yet), and did carnaval.

I have an unlocked 1.0.2 and I need to virginize first before restore to (not upgrade) 1.1.1.

I find that my iPhone will become a 300MB after access http://jailbreak.toc2tra.com/

My phone already released all lock. The only problem is the disk size.

Can anyone help to fix it ? I guess one of the disk system didn't mount only.

It's the old simlink thing that you have to remove. I say the simplest way to fix it is to restore (1.1.1) your phone via itunes and run CARNAVAL 0.7. Carnaval will jailbreak & activate your phone and clean up the symlink correctly. Note: no need to run anySIM 1.1 again.

I've restore the firmware for 2 times. The problem still existing.

I found a solution from another site. Before restore the firmware clear all setting by "Setting>Genernal>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings". (In fact it can solution the problem by erase a file /var/root/Media.) The iPhone will request you plug to iTunes to restore.

From here restore the 1.1.1 firmware and jailbreak the iPhone.

Now get back the 7G disk.
