can you make me understood. Is NCK number attributable to every iphone or is it same for any iphone? How far are you with progress in breaking nck algorithm? Too many replays in this thread.

Guys, it's been said many times so far that this is not about cracking any individual phone. Right now, the code is being fixed and refined so it can actually be used productively. Please read the thread...all of the answers are there.

Many people have posted stating that they have access to X amount of computers, etc. I am hoping that, once the code is fixed, it can be set up as a distributed system and everyone can help everyone crack NCKs :-)

Even better would be to crack how Apple does it (private RSA key or something) but that would take a long time - much longer than cracking NCKs.

The code detects the IMEI now, we just need it to be able to validate the NCKs (something it cannot do in its present state, at least not on a 64-bit system).

This one WILL work on a 32-bit system and also is able to verify everything. It still needs to undergo testing to ensure it doesn't have the negative problem the 64-bit one did.

Are you sure that your employer (I'm guessing it's your employer because most people don't own a Bluegene) wouldn't write you up or anything?

I wonder why one could use idea from project SETI@home. This project used CPU power from many users. In this way every single person could use others connected to the progam CPU power to use force NCK. How about that ?
