Ok, latest test on a box I just got for testing, 2x Intel Xeon 5335 (2.0 GHz Quad Core), running with 8 threads the speed is 530 000 keys/sec or 67 000 keys/sec/core. Just as a performance marker. In any case ca 60-65k keys/sec/core seems to be the speed of the current code with variations depending on CPU architecture and clock speed...

    Toruonu,

The number of threads will only help until you have a thread for each core. I'm running with 2 threads and got the same results as running with 8. Just for information.

At the rate you got there.. it's looking a lot better.

    Nice work.

I agree with him. Ever heard of Round-Robin? You must have each thread running in each core (which is the real simultaneous run).

    Apple
    sucks.
    Microsoft rules.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

[QUOTE=geohot__;150219]Okay, THIS IS NOT AN UNLOCK. Don't try to brute force your phones seczone, it won't succeed. This brute force needs to be optimized 100x before it can even be attempted on a *distributed* system.

Also if you want to see the program work, run it on ltoken_test included in the rar file. I encrypted that seczone with the nck "123456". It successfully unlocked the phone when I uploaded it so I know the tool works.

Hi, I didn't understand this so well, you said this is not an unlock in the first paragraph and in the second one you said it successfully unlocked the phone. Do this tool unlocks the new iphones or not?

    Thanks.

No not at the moment. This is only a POC (Proof of concept). Geo break into his own generated ltoken.

    Here's some news..

I modified Geohot's program to only calculate the sha1(nck+norid+chipd) part and print it to a file. Why?

Lets say we decide a bruteforce is necessary. People can run this program with their own ltoken and then send the file to some random computer that will calculate the other functions. This way you can send your sha1 hashes to a random guy with a lot of computer power and he'll calculate the rest for you without knowing your chipid or norid.

Othr than that.. I'm getting about 200,000 k/s running only this instead of 65.000 k/s running Geohot's original. So maybe people with quadcore computers will be able to generate this list much faster.

Other than that this is a way to divide the work if it comes to that. A group of people will take a ltoken and each person calculates a part of the sha1 hash table.. they put it on a server when they are done with their block. Another group of people will run the tea encryption part and a third group runs the rsa..

    Now the bad news:
    I ran a 8 digit sha1 hash table and now I have a 3 gb text file.

and with that you do exactly what? Every iPhone will have a separate list and if you now do the math that 10^8 = 3GB -> 10^15 = 30 PB
