Default My Version says N/A but no probs yet..?

Anyone ever seen this? My Version in the "About" of settings says "N/A"...??? I have 1.1.1 unlocked on tmobile and have not attempted any upgrades, but this doesn't seem to be affecting any functionality... i have a feeling it had something to do with a bad connection to the iPhone PC Suite, which is right after I noticed it stopped registering the version on the gui and it changed to N/A in the settings.

Should I do anything about this? Does anyone know if there's a fix for this? thx for your input...

Have you been messing with the file in /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist? if you break an XML table in that file it will do that

I have not - I just started to understand/use the perl plutil converter in order to be able to edit plist files in windows, but i have not yet actually edited any files... this situation occurred right after a connection to the PC Suite.... any other thoughts?

thanks... if i just edit the systemversion.plist to say 1.1.1 again, will it have any potential harmful effects? I assume that it only controls whats txt is reflected in the "About" screen, right?
