Which method to unlock iPhone?
Hi,
I bought a 8GB iPhone last week. The features of the phone
*Version : 1.1.2 (3B48b)
*Modem Firmware : 04.03.13_G
*Jailbreaked
*OS : Windows XP SP2
I want to unlock it to is in my country. I read lots of tutorials. Some people say don't use ZiPhone, others say don't use iPlus. But I am not sure which one to use. Please suggest me a tutorial to use for my iPhone.
Besides when i plug the iPhone to the computer iTunes asks me to upgrade it to 1.1.4. If I upgrade it with iTunes can i unlock it? if yes with which method?(ZiPhone or iPlus)
Thanks a lot

If you have a clean phone (no jailbreak/unlock) then upgrade to 1.1.4 and run iplus2.0b just read the sticky, the reason why i suggest iplus is because it downgrades your bootloader to 3.9fb a bootloader that can be upgraded back to normal state via software for warrenty issues etc. If you use ziphone it may downgrade your bootloader to a state where you will not be able to upgrade via software thus voiding warrenty, the only way to recover from that is by opening the phone and doing test point ...........and trust me you dont want to have to do that

I just jailbreaked it(but not unlocked). Can i still upgrade it to 1.1.4 using iTunes and use unlock it with iPlus?

grab the 1.1.4 file save it, hit the shift key while hitting restore and restore to it to it, a clean phone is best in order for things to go smoothly
