messed up, and want to go back to working 1.1.1
okay, so i tried to 1.1.2 using the methods posted here, here is what i did in order:
restored to 1.1.2 by putting my jailbroken/anysim1.1.1 unlocked fone in DFU mode, shift-restoring to 1.1.2
restored back to 1.1.1, by putting fone in DFU mode again and shift-restoring to 1.1.1 ; got error 1015, kicked it outta DFU with ibrikr
ran jailbreakme.com and worked
installed bsd subsystem, openSSH, and added the frenchiphone repository so i can get anysim 1.1.2u
ran anysim1.1.2u and had no problems
updated to 1.1.2
ran jailbreak.bat or whatever it is , hit jailbreak me! and told me i didnt have oktoprep installed
tried to restore back to 1.1.1 to try and do it again, but still have problems with the 1.1.2 jailbreak, also theres no carrier symbol, and basically no bars - no calling
what would i have to do to restore back to 1.1.1 and be able to jailbreak/activate/unlock again
right now ive jailbroken 1.1.1 but no fone please help
Hey bud, I was in the same boat as you last night. From what you said I think it's very similar to what issue I had. It sounds like your baseband might be upgraded or messed up.

There's so many tutorials out there it'll make your head spin. But I found this to be the best and most useful for my situation.
Get back to square one and try again. I'm going to probably wait for a more reliable way to upgrade to 1.1.2.
Hope it helps.
