Exclamation Lost Wifi by running 'baseband downgrade' on 1.1.2 OTB

    Need help, guys!
I was just preparing my 1.1.2 OTB (BL 4.6, downgraded to 1.1.1) for the h/w unlock and installed the baseband downgrade from i.unlock.no.
Problem: This stupid thing executed immediately, terminated with 'main script execution failed' and left me without wifi and bluetooth. I dont dare rebooting now. Can I fix this?

    Damn!
Shouldn't restoring also restore the baseband?
    Is there any other option?

    Holy crap!
Installing the bootloader downgrade is exactly what the i.unlock.no tutorial tells you to do. It executed automatically, didn't it? But why aren't there more bricks then?

    http://iphone.unlock.no/bootloader_downgrade.htm

p.s.: it still finds my network and even shows the correct signal strength, but i cant connect

This may go without saying at this point, but you didn't want the "baseband downgrader" from the installer, but the "bootloader downgrade" package.

If you have already installed bootloader downgrade files and the terminal, then I would attempt to complete the hw BL downgrade before doing anything else - once you have the 3.9 BL, you will have more options.

If you are so fouled that you can't do anything and don't have the files, you can try these instructions to get the phone to a point you can work with -

Works nice, remember to use ibrickr to install 1.0.2 otherwise you will just get an error. Also wait a while when you see alot of text on your iPhone, it takes some time.

Just that you are not being misunderstood: In your own thread you wrote that you still didn't succeed in restoring the baseband.

Who is the author of that baseband downgrader? Can someone look it up in the installer? We need to know what it does exactly to find a fix.

    EDIT:
Solution: I deleted /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist, restarted the phone, did the h/w unlock with testpoint (everything went fine), executed "bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls" to make sure a baseband is being flashed (don't know if a fw restore to 1.1.1 would also have done that) and everything was fine again.
