    Default Looking to buy iphone soon on ebay unlocking question

    I have been reading a lot about blocking (bricking) the iphones, If I buy a unlocked one and If I dont update it in any way then will it always work ?

    Yes it will stay completely functional. Make sure you open iTunes Preference & uncheck the option that automatically looks for updates & if at all it asks for an update always CLICK ON NO.

    You will be able to use it on 1.0.2.until our Dev team gets their hands on the 1.1.1 firmware. Till then DO NOT UPDATE.

    Fantastic , Im going to buy one from UK ebay , unlocked , do you think it will be ok ?

    Make sure you confirm with the seller by asking him the questions about what all features would be unlocked, & which would not work. If its on ebay the guys must have unlocked it totally with all features like call in & out sms in & out Youtube wifi & all must be working.
