on ebay this guy is claming the iphone that are being sold in Germany for $999 (Euros) he has figured out a way to clone it on the other locked iphones and there fore they are legally unlocked and you can update them as much as you want?

I think it is possible............What do you guys think?

and so...why he sells his iPhone? I mean...sells only the method that you use to unlock the phone!...don't believe to all...especially on eBay

I just came across a thread that basically said that T-Mobile germany was required to fax all the IMEI numbers along with the owners' names to Apple in the US in order to unlock their iPhones. This is being done by manually inputting the IMEI numbers into Apple's secret unlocking software.
What does that mean? That means this guy is a scammer lol

I wouldn't trust it anyway - he has *NO* feedback from iphones sold, and wants people to pay by cheque instead of PayPal!!

Also says that you are preordering them - he doesn't have any yet cos he is so busy with an "enormous backlog". If he was that busy I would expect him to have at least 1 feedback

then again - he does say that you will have to wait up to one month to get it.....maybe he is just hoping that the current baseband will get unlocked within the next month now that the firmware has been dumped?

The IMEI is stored in hardware and therefore its not possible to clone an iPhone.

There's nothing illegal about unlocking your iphone just that old man Jobs wants to bend you over and have his way with you, and without even taking you out for a nice seafood dinner!
