These vietnamese guys are probably the same who stated they unlocked 1.1.1 before the new anysim was out. Either they are very good at this, or very good with photoshop....and just looking for some publicity...who knows...

I think they are good at this as they provided unlock service for iphone.
As they said, atm the price for unlocking iphone with bootloader 4.6 is high due to the risk.

Their post looks legit: Correct serial #, fw version, bootloader version and signal bar showing their local phone carrier...
The cost to unlock using TurboSim is around $100+time+risk.
Cost to have an official unlock from Germany is around $1,500 USD.
So, if the cost of their unlock service is 50-100 USD, then I'm willing to FedEx mine to them to get an unlocked one before Xmas !!!

I'm going to Vietnam in March, so if by then we still haven't got an easy way to software unlock the new 1.1.2 OOB iPhone, I'll get mine unlocked there. FedEx the phone to Vietnam would be too risky IMHO.

Im in Hanoi - Vietnam.
iPhone have 2 board. PDA board and Communication board.
PDA board for jailbreak and apps using.
Comm board for imei, wifi, bluetooth, unlock ...
Change the old bootloader comm board to an OTB112 is very easy, that's not a solution. That's just a trick. You can update to 1.1.2 to use with all the old comm board bl 3.09.
