I woke up very ilusionated today, hoping 1.1.3. firmware or chinese unlock. But I didn't find anything. I was in the same situation a lot of times. No activity in the georgehotz forum and here only other threads so useless like mine. Only speculation. I begin to think that everything ocurring in the Iphone world is controled by Apple. If anyone get the 1.1.3. firmware without baseband info is because Apple want it in this way.

I think it has come time to say Apple won the battle.

Of course, I'm very grateful for all of your hard work, devteam. Just a useless comment...

maybe apple won the battle for the 4.6 bootloader but they didnt won for the 3.9

There is no reason of being so pessimist. There are a lot of people working on this all over the world. I'm confident it is just a matter of time. Moreover, it is not like the new iphones are bricks at the time , and if the software unlock won't be ready soon, you can always buy one of those *sims (*: turbo, hyper, next, king, stealth, etc..., iphonesimfreer, ...other will come too at a lower price I'm sure, as those sims costs a couple of bucks to the producers, and people are just speculating as hell now). Apple is just playing its game and made some points with the new bl, but it is not at all over

I want to ask one question, will Apple be able to upgrade my iPhone's bootloader when 1.1.3 comes out?

well..yeah they can include it in the update but i dont think they will coz any failure in progress, that would really brick the phone and no chance to run it again even for ppl who use the locked phones

you do remember how long it took for the FIRST unlock, right?
