Does anyone know of a way to perhaps unlock the iPhone at 1.1.1?

I tried the downgrade method but I think that only works if you've either upgraded from 1.02 or have unlocked it in the past

nope at the moment, u cant do anything with your stock 1.1.1 phone.
wait for an unlock for 1.1.1 to come

if u unboxed the iphone, u need to pay a 10% restocking fee.

I don't think downgrading will work on a stock 1.1.1

downgrading works fine but you still can't unlock a downgraded phone as it keeps the 1.1.1 modem firmware

yea that is the current situation for stock 1.1.1 iphones
