[Jailbroken 1.1.3 (prev 1.1.2 ootb+turbosim)] - downgrade
hey guys, I just updated and jailbroken my iphone with nate's ibrick to 1.1.3 .
unfortunately, I noticed several bugs (my bt headset doesn't work, edge settings don't stick) so I wanted to go back to 1.1.2 .
from what i've read, nate patched the firmware so that the baseband remains untouched when upgrading, so I am thinking it shouldn't be too hard to downgrade.
I have two questions now:
1) can i do the downgrade via itunes (loading the 1.1.2 ipsw file)?
2) will my settings/texts/contacts still be there after the downgrade?
thanks for the help!

Yeah, I got the same problem. My OTB1.1.2 is now 1.1.3 and unusable. It doesn't seem to be possible to downgrade. Unless anyone has got any good ideas?

1.Yes
2. I bet you will lose them. But do a backup and youll have all of them after you restore the iphone.

you will 100% lose your stuff. if you cant downgrade use iphuc before the restore it will do the trick. my phone after the upgrade doesnt locate my carrier is this normal or it should normally work. i unlocked my phone when it was 112 by turbosim but now nothing.

iTunes backs up all your stuff when you sync... When you plug it into iTunes it will say that it has been synced with this PC before, do you want to restore settings. That will restore EVERYTHING (except apps OBVIOUSLY).
Downgrading is easy, shift>restore etc...
