    Default iTunes reporting 1.1.3 (04.04.05_G) after upgrade/ZiPhone to 1.1.4...

I updated to 1.1.4 last night, ZiPhoned, and everything worked flawlessly.

Even though I am having no issues with functionality, the phone is reported in iTunes as being a 1.1.3. The firmware however, is 04.04.05_G according to HWinfo.

Is this an iTunes issue? I am on 1.1.4 if my firmware is 04.04.05_G correct?

Another odd thing is that if I query iTunes it tells me that 1.1.3 is te latest version and that my phone is up to date. I haven't updated iTunes to 7.6 yet, do you think that might fix things?

    Thanks in advance!
    T

Exact same problem!!! Everyone check their version after upgrading and report back! I have restored to 1.1.4, then used ijailbreak and independence to jb/unlock. Firmware version on iphone says 1.1.4 for a moment, then it seems when you restart, it says 1.1.3, although functionality does not seem impaired, I would like the phone to actually register as 1.1.4!! Any thoughts?

    what Bootloader do u have?

I think ZiPhone 2.5 contains a bug it's not erasing Baseband, cause I restored to 1.1.4 then used ZiPhone 2.5 to Activate, Jailbreak and Unlock (I'm on BL 4.6) so all I got is Activated and Jailbroken iPhone without Unlocking (still on locked 4.04)

so all I did is to use the ZiPhone 2.4 to unlock ( go back to 4.02 Unlocked)

don't know if it's connected or anything...but I used only ZiPhone...

if you have 1.1.4 and it is registering as 1.1.3 and want itunes to recognize it as 1.1.4 add blazeco.info/blaze.xml to your sources and install 1.1.4 svpatch
    Unlocked on 1.1.4 [04 04 05] using GeoHots IPSF
    PWNED

I changed the sv file to report 1.1.4 and it works (althought the version of 1.1.4 is (N/A)). My only real concern is that with this baseband I AM on true 1.1.4 correct? That is to say, even though it's reporting as 1.1.3, the baseband is the true indicator of version right?

I LOVE the phone, but constantly replacing everything when you have a critical crash or update is a little annoying haha... Has anyone found an easy way to backup the phone (even on it's current fw?)?

Heres to hoping I don't have to do a restore for a while (it's so damn time consuming lol...).

You might be running the ispazio 1.1.4 patch that fools the phone into thinking it's in 1.1.3 to install older apps....If you uninstall this app, your general about will indicate 1.1.4

Yes if your BaseBand is 04.04.05_G you are on 1.1.4, regarding backup of iPhone try to use some 3rd arty app like iPhonePCSuite (Contacts,SMS,CallData,Wallpapers,RingTones,.....)

do you happend to have 7.6.1 iTunes ....

Another thing if you have hacckthatphone repo (www.hackthatphone.com/1.xml) install BBInfo, and run it, it should tell you your FW and BL, among some other stuff
