iTunes needs to check carrier settings

I'm on T-mobile with Iphone 2G, just did a full Pwnage restore to v2.1 last night. Itunes 8.0.1 is asking "Itunes needs to check carrier settings". Should I do it? Or is there a risk of messing my phone up?

Uh, according to the thread and other replies on other forums I don't think I'm gonna risk it. People keep talking about "error 1630". It's not worth having to repwn my Iphone for this. Thanks guys.
