Default Issues unlocking an AT&T Activated iPhone

    Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help me find out what is going on with my iPhone as i have tried a lot of things to get it to work with T-Mobile (US) without much success...

    iPhone specs:
fw 1.1.1, running with an activated AT&T sim, and jailbroken using jailbreakme.com, also run anysim 1.1 (with the T-Mobile sim in it and anysim reported the unlock was successful although after it finished T-Mobile sim was not recognized by the iPhone... ).

The main aim for me to unlock the phone is so that i can swap sims when i travel abroad and use the t-mobile sim to download data/emails.

Any ideas as to what i might be doing wrong?

Also, first time i run anysim the t-mobile sim worked for a bit until i restarted and i have done many restores after that and i am at the point i explained earlier,...

any sort of help will be highly appreciated.

    thanks in advance
    Macutan

aww..., now i can no longer see the sim working (it displays No Service on the carrier logo area, eventhough i am AT&T customer and i have activated the iPhone through iTunes... desperately needed of help....

i have tried the sim card (AT&T on another regular cell phone and it works so the sim is not the issue), i have tried to restore the iphone several times but same result after i activate it through iTunes...

    any suggestions?

    try this:
put att sim into phone. Restore the phone via itunes.
After that, see if the phone is working. first thing is trying to get your phone to work with att sim.

restore to 1.0.2, flash baseband to v3, restore to 1.1.1, jailbreakme, anysim, done.
