okey, i've redone the steps, but now when i run ispf it says that the phone is already unlocked. do i need to do anyting before redoing all the steps?
Have you actually UNLOCKED using IPSF? If so, then your seczone is kaput (gone forever), unless IPSF has taken a backup in their backend.
iPhone 4 GB running 1.1.1 (virginized from 1.0.2) on Vodafone Greece
Activated/Jailbroken/Unlocked via Safari Exploit/TouchFree/Anysim
Calls in/out YES/YES
SMS in/out YES/YES
EDGE Probably yes, havent tried yet
Wifi/YouTube/Wireless iTunes YES/YES/YES
okey, that sucks
so then there's no way to update to 1.1.1?
Yes, you can still update to 1.1.1.
But if IPSF didn't backup your RSA token on their server and the next update from Apple fix the RSA bug in the bootloader then you're it big trouble.
okey, but it's safe to update to 1.1.1 without doing any virginizing then? i did the first steps (bupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep and such). Where do i go form herE? can i just follow and update guide now or do i need to do anything else first so that it won't brick my phone when i update?
bump bump bump
Jesus.. Just read that damn dozens of guides and existing threads on this. It's so lame to read the same things over and over again!
Every little detail has been asked and answered now and there is no point in asking it yet again. Just use the search feature and spend a little bit time in actually reading and browsing the forums. That's what I did and it worked for me.
i was just asking a yes or no question, can i just update to 1.1.1 by following the guides for doing that as long as i don't update after 1.1.1? Would be easier to just answer yes or no than answering what you did.
