Do you actually believe that your desktop is located in a folder called "desktop" on your C: drive?? Omg... Look, its a little more complicated than that.. As it seems you're no computer expert why dont u just cut that damn "iplus2.0" folder and paste it right on C: so you only have to type "cd iplus2.0"???

What has happened is that you have probably extracted iplus into a sub folder inside the iplus folder on your desktop.

What you need to do is to remove the sub folder and move all contents into the main folder.

If you don't understand what I am telling you then try this first

    cd desktop/iplus2.0/iplus2.0
First ever Apple product I bought : iPhone.

You need to type the full path in order to get to the folder:

    cd\Users\your name\Destop\iPlus2.0

I barely can read what name it has listed in the picture after Users but fill it in where I put "your name" and that should get you into the folder, but you always have to put in the complete path even if you are in the desktop already..or you can do what batistamr said and move it to your C: drive

Use the auto-completion (tab key) to complete the name of your path.

Wow...you're not very nice. And actually, your desktop IS located in a folder called "desktop" on your C drive. Or more accurately, files that are found on your desktop, can also be found in the following directory:

    "c:\documents and settings\*your user name*\desktop"

No, you don't have to type the full path. You merely need to finish the path in order to get to where your going. In his example (with the picture provided) he would merely need to type exactly what nab7007 gave

Right on dude, when people ask questions there is no need to flame them because they know less than you.
