iPhone volume still low after 1.1.1
When I first purchased my iPhone its firmware was 1.0.2, I suppose that I was so caught up on unlocking it and modding it, I really didnt pay attention to any of the real important factors, such as call volume.
In 1.0.2 I would have to ALWAYS put my phone on speaker, because I couldn't hear ANYTHING, finally I revirginzed and upgraded to 1.1.1, the speaker is somewhat better, but I am still having trouble hearing. My aunt as an iphone on 1.1.1 locked for AT&T, and I used her phone last night, and the volume was SO LOUD, in EVERYTHING. Her iTunes playing from the speaker was loud, the general calling volume was VERY LOUD, (to the point where, at full volume it would hurt your ears) and her speaker phone was loud as well.
I'm really really really tired of all this malfunctioning crap with this iPhone. Does anyone know what I can do to increase the volume or why the same 1.1.1 Locked att phone and my unlocked t-mobile phones have significant difference in volume?
Do I need to restore everything and start from scratch?
I really dont want to mod the volume, if my aunt has a pure locked ATT iPhone, and her volume is phenomenal? I mean, if I must, but does anyone know what's going on?
Maybe it is not the iphone, you are just deaf!!!!!
HALLLLLLOOOOOO, can you hear me???
I'm just kidding! And a little bit frustrated as well, not being possible to unlock my otb 1.1.2 yet!!
BTW, try and search the forum, there are some threads about this issue, and maybe they can help
Modified by me. It's better than iVolume.
Download and unpack
Put com.apple.celestial.plist file in /var/root/Library/Preferences/
Put SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist file in /System/Library/Frameworks/Celestial.framework/
1.1.2 actually address this issue - I'm very happy with the new firmware!
