Default iPhone Unlocked not seen by iTunes

Hello all - with the question to one side I must say this forum is one of the best if not the best source for iPhone information / community!!

So I've got the iPhone (hurray) purchased already unlocked (iBrickr)

    - Youtube works and as far as I can see the other features too.

    - But, iTunes will not find it. Been using the recommended 7.4.1.2 and tried the latest version and 7.2.0.35 on 2 different PC's with no joy.

Any idea's? If I have to reset the phone will I have to unlock it again.

    - To wrap it up, iTunes will not find the unlocked iPhone at all

    Hope you can help.
    Thanks.

You on Windoze? if yes, then you have a driver issue. Check for any USB storage device driver, delete it. Reinstall iTunes. Fire it up and connect your phone.

Hi there schalkse, thanks for ya help!!

Yep running Windows, under device manager the iPhone is found with no problems on 2 PC's.

Although I uninstalled the latest iTunes to go back to previous versions I didnt remove it from the registry or delete the C drive folder.

    I'll try what you said.

I'll also see what happens on the Macbook Pro (most my music isnt on that but if it works then it works)

I'll try all tonight ^^ let yall know.

    Thanks

Hi all, gave all the suggestions a go all last night and all of this morning, each one many times but the iPhone still won't be found by iTunes.

    - Connected it to a MBP and it wasnt found
    - Tried 4 different versions of iTunes on 2 seperate PC's with no luck
    - On each ocassion connected a iPod (iPhone wasnt connected at the time) and every time iTunes found that straight away.

Device manager under Universal Service Bus Contro' finds it with no problems and names it "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver".

    It's becoming annoying now

Also tried the suggestions on Apples support page.

    Any idea's guys?

    Any idea's guys?

In saying that I just removed 'Apple Mobile Device' from add or remove programs and now Windows recognises it as a Camera connected and when opening up iTunes a message appears:

An o2 sim is insert and recognised by the iPhone - Does the AT&T one have to be there?

    Any idea's?

Some random things to try out:

    - Did you try rebooting the phone?

    - Try another USB cable than the one you have been using.

    - Did you try rebooting the machines you connected too?

    - Turn off wifi and bluetooth.
